Deanne Bambrick
Deanne Bambrick, BA BSW MSW RSW has twenty years of experience working with youth and adults in diverse social work settings. She completed her social work degrees at Memorial University and Dalhousie University. Deanne works with individuals 16+ experiencing depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, addiction, and trauma.
She has experience and special interest in the areas of relationships, perinatal health, intimate partner violence, neurodiversity, and parenting children with exceptionalities. She uses evidence-based practice approaches including CBT, ACT, DBT, reflective journaling, mindfulness, and narrative therapy in her clinical practice.
Deanne uses feminist, strengths-based, neuro-affirming, and trauma informed approaches in her practice and strives to help her clients feel safe and validated while working towards their goals. Deanne is passionate about building genuine and meaningful relationships with her clients and helping them improve their resilience and quality of life.

Hilary brings with her specialized training in psychological assessments, ADHD counselling and coaching, and support for individuals dealing with trauma and PTSD. Hilary is also trained in EMDR Therapy and is a qualifying IFS level one clinician.
In her practice, she emphasizes acceptance and wellness, working collaboratively with clients to help them build resilience and navigate life’s challenges with greater ease. Hilary is passionate about offering accessible and personalized mental health services, particularly for underrepresented communities. Chelsea works with individuals of all ages, but has a particular interest in working with children and youth. Using client-centered, trauma-informed, and neuro-affirming approaches, Chelsea believes mental health care should be personalized to each client and she strives to offer accessible services. Krysta Simms MN NP F/AA brings with her 17 years of nursing experience working within Newfoundland and Labrador. She is currently working as a Nurse Practitioner since graduating from Athabasca University with her Masters of Nursing: Nurse Practitioner degree in 2019. Prior to this, she graduated from Memorial University with a Bachelor of Nursing degree and worked as a Registered Nurse in NL since 2007. She has worked in both rural and urban NL as well as provided virtual healthcare services to remote NL.
Krysta has an extensive background of knowledge, having worked in many aspects of the healthcare field. She specializes in primary care, mental health, and ADHD care. Other areas of interest include palliative care, emergency care, practice facilitation, advanced foot care, and healthcare management. She has also worked in physical rehabilitation, medicine, cardiac care, and orthopedic surgery. She is looking forward to joining the Flora Foundations team.
